Quantile has been voted OTC Derivatives Margin Solution of the Year at the FTF News Technology Innovation Awards, 2023

Quantile, a leading provider of multilateral optimisation services, has been awarded the OTC Derivatives Margin Solution of the year at the FTF News Technology Innovation Awards. The awards celebrate professionals, financial technology vendors, service providers, industry bodies and regulators that have made significant strides and noteworthy achievements in operational excellence during the past year, and are of particular significance as the winners are determined by an industry vote.

Market participants recognised Quantile’s Counterparty Risk Optimisation service due to the tremendous growth and innovation it has experienced in the last year, executing regular runs which significantly reduced margin costs across bilateral and cleared portfolios – often in excess of 50%. Other highlights include:

• Merged our initial margin optimisation and capital optimisation services to create Counterparty Risk Optimisation – enabling participants to simultaneously reduce their margin and capital requirements with one run, one set of constraints and one booking process.
• Enabled participants to sweep risk into SwapAgent so it can be held more efficiently and benefit from reduced risk and capital usage of ~30-60%.
• Delivered record-breaking runs for FX and interest rates.
• Expanded our network to include buy side firms, clearing brokers and Canadian market participants.
• Extended our optimisation objective function to include IMM RWA (the internal model method).
• Released weekly enhancements to the optimisation process, algorithms and client portal.
